Richard worked with designer Betsy Speert and provided turnings for bedpost finials.

March, 1991. Design Tips by Gail Ravgiala & Estelle Bond Guralnick. Boston Globe Magazine.
Richard worked with designer Betsy Speert to re-purpose an old pine server into a bathroom sink vanity.

March, 1990. AIDS Hospice by Judith Davidsen. Interior Design.
Richard worked with Paul Lanoix of William Hodgins, Inc. to create a mahogany cabinet-commode for Boston's first AIDS hospice. Hodgins and Charles Spada co-chaired the design effort.

At the request of William Hodgins, Richard restored several pieces of Beidermeier furniture for a San Francisco pied-à-terre.
